This is our “Black-Light” room, much like how deep down in the ocean, everything glows! With two 8 ft light tables, this room is known for it’s effect on the optic nerve! Glow-in-the-dark wall murals of ocean creatures light up beautifully under the black lights. The light tables offer a huge assortment of learning tools to use with the tables. This room has it’s own music source and light show device. As well, this is where our “RIWI” blocks live. These are a different type of block than our Big Blue Blocks. RIWI blocks are one shape (rectangle planks) and are most used as a crash pad for children to climb on. Floor mats are safely underneath to make sure nobody gets hurt. We have benches and chairs in this room for parents and caretakers to sit comfortably. Children are invited to wander in and out of this room if they are visiting for Open-Play. For parties, this room is utilized most commonly for “Glow-In-The-Dark” Dance Parties and “Glow-In-The-Dark” Henna.
